But in this case they have seized the opportunity and created the features they needed.

It is yet to be seen if Budget web hosts with their "multi domain hosting plans" will capture the webmaster communities' hosting needs, or if Reseller web hosts can capture them with "Webmaster hosting plans". Either way webmasters will benefit from the increased competition.
